Hit the road this November

Autumn Leaf Rally + Tintaldra weekend

If you've had the bike tucked away in the shed over Winter, here are a couple of good excuses to drag it out and go for a ride…

The Tumut Valley Riders club is holding its 13th Autumn Leaf Rally on the foreshores of 3-Mile Dam near Mt Selwyn Ski Fields, Kiandra. 16kms East of Cabramurra, NSW. The event has a terrific reputation and features a gymkhana plus a fishing competition. It's scheduled for the weekend of 2-4 November.

It's largely self catering, though water and firewood are available at the site. Entry is $10 prepaid and $12 at the site, including a badge.

Contact: Tumut Valley Riders MC Inc, PO Box 583, Tumut 2720, tel (02) 6453 8718.

Meanwhile Alf and Maija are holding a Guy Fawkes night at the motorcycle-friendly Tintaldra Pub (pictured) on the Murray River (near Corryong) on the weekend of 3-4 November.

This is catered, with the usual pub services on offer, including accommodation.
