A new electric scooter is on its way to Australia, with the Super Soco CPx set to arrive on local shores in late June with a $7690 ride away price tag.
Billed as the brand’s most powerful electric scooter, the CPx is currently the number one selling electric scooter in the UK according to the brand’s Australian arm.

Give electric bikes a chance, says Boorman
The Super Soco CPx is designed to meet the needs of urban commuters and is packed with a host of features and the latest technology. It features an advanced battery management system, USB charging, a reverse function, keyless ignition, in-built alarm, and a wheel locking function.
While Super Soco only claim a battery range of 75kms, the CPx does have capacity for a second battery, effectively doubling the range. Soco also claims a charging time of 3-4 hours and the battery can be charged in or out of the bike.
The CPx is designed for practicality rather than performance, but Soco claims that the new scoot will reach a top speed of 90km/h – more than enough for urban environments.
Other key specs include 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels, disc brakes, LED lighting, 4.8kW of power and 171Nm of torque (relative to electric, of course). The scooter also features a passenger seat, three ride modes, a digital display, a windscreen and a luggage rack.
Arriving in June 2021, the Super Soco CPx will come in three colours – Sonic Silver, Phantom Black, and Titanium Grey. As above, it will have a price tag of $7690 ride away.
