High-tech CFMOTO 800NK arriving in September

The long-awaited CFMOTO 800NK naked bike will reach Aussie dealerships within weeks

CFMOTO will launch its highly anticipated 800NK model in Australia next month, with two variants and an attractive ride-away price tag.

First teased in the form of the NK-C22 concept, the production version will be powered by a 799cc parallel-twin engine that produces a claimed 101hp (74.3kW) at 9000rpm and 81Nm at 8000rpm.

The base-level Sport variant will check in at $10,990 ride away and features a 5-inch TFT curved display, three riding modes, cruise control, a CF-SC slipper clutch, adjustable KYB suspension, J.Juan braking components, Bosch ABS, and CFMOTO’s T-box system.

But if all that isn’t enough, then customers can fork out $12,490 ride away for the flagship Advanced version, which adds a bi-directional quickshifter, keyless ignition, and an 8-inch TFT touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay.

Mounted in a portrait orientation and operating in a similar way to a tablet, the new display includes voice activation, multimedia interaction, Bluetooth connectivity, and the ability to use it while wearing gloves.

The new 800NK platform draws a lot from the KTM 790 Duke on which it is based, including the parallel-twin powerplant and the chromoly steel tube frame. The engine was also used in the CFMOTO 800MT adventure bike, but the NK version does draw out a little more performance.

It is a busy time for CFMOTO Down Under. In recent years, the Chinese powerhouse has released the 700CL-X range, the 800MT adventure bike, the 300CL-X, and the 450SR sportsbike on Australian soil. It will also soon launch the 450CL-C cruiser, while the high-tech 1250TR-G tourer is also a chance to be distributed locally in 2024.

The 800NK Sport and 800NK Advanced will both arrive in mid-September with a three-year warranty and two colour schemes – Zircon Black and Nebula White.
