Hayabusa to remain a four?

Debate and rumours over Suzuki's replacement for the GSX1300R Hayabusa has now moved in favour of a major upgrade of the existing four-cylinder platform for a much-upgraded 200hp-plus monster - that's if you can believe the rumour being run by the UK's

The newspaper claims the new model is close to release and will use similar engine architecture to the existing bike, rather than a version of the inline six concept machine that has been on the company's stands at assorted international shows.

MCN speculates the revised model will be running GSX-R-like bodywork and four-piston radial mount front brakes in place of the current six-spotters.
