You've gotta hand it to freestyle motocross legend Carey Hart. He's joined his wife Pink on her current Australian tour, even though most of the acerbic lyrics in her latest 'Funhouse' album are about their relationship woes of recent years. In other words, she's calling the world's first person to perform a backflip on a motorcycle a tool.
But he's simply laughed it off and, reconciliation all done, Carey is injecting some extra punch into five of Pink's shows by performing his own free action sports events.
This Saturday, his Hart and Huntington Tour will make its fourth stop at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre from 1.00-4.00pm.
Hart will be joined by fellow freestyle motocross riders Robbie Marshall and Matty McFerran in Brisbane, and there will also be a minibike team and Harley-Davidson-mounted Matt Mingay to entertain the masses.
"The first three legs of the tour have been amazing and it has been great to see so many FMX and Pink fans come together for my event which is at absolutely no cost," Hart said. "We both love Australians and Australia as a whole has supported us both throughout our careers.
"The Hart and Huntington Tour is the first time I have performed outside the US for over six years and it is the very first time that Pink and I have teamed up on a joint project of this magnitude."
The final leg of the Hart and Huntington Tour will be held on June 20 at Parklands Showground on the Gold Coast.
