Harley museum Terminated

The Fat Boy as used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 will soon find a new home at the Harley-Davidson museum in downtown Milwaukee

The Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee will soon have a new inhabitant – the 1990 Fat Boy as ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

The Fat Boy still shows "significant production wear from filming" -- no surprise really, as the movie was a macho sci-fi thriller and not a love story. Hence, vehicles weren't treated with kid gloves.

“This motorcycle arguably played one of the most significant film roles in Harley-Davidson’s history, and we’re thrilled it has found its permanent home here at the Museum, where it will be preserved for future generations," the museum's curatorial director Jim Fricke said in a statement.

The Harley museum currently houses more than 450 motorcycles.
