Thousands of Harley-Davidson riders from around the globe will participate in the Harley-Davidson World Ride on June 27-28.
In 2014, participants logged more than 10 million miles on solo rides, in groups large and small, and through a variety of dealer-led events around the world. For 2015, the event retains its two-day format, but shifts to Saturday and Sunday to enable even more riders around the globe to participate.
Every mile counts and can be recorded by logging into Harley-Davidson’s online mileage accumulator here, where a rolling odometer will record the collective distance travelled by all participants in the world ride.
Ride participants can log their post-ride mileage directly onto the event website from mobile devices and share their riding stories and photographs on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #HDworldride. Participants can also download a certificate of participation after logging their mileage.
“There’s no doubting the feeling of freedom and sheer joy riding a motorcycle offers, it’s one of those experiences in life that breaks the monotony of the daily grind and brings a smile to the face every time,” said Adam Wright, Director of Marketing for Harley-Davidson Australia and New Zealand. “The exciting thing about the Harley-Davidson World Ride is that it’s all about just that — getting out on your bike, flying solo or with your friends and getting back to what makes you happy.”
