Harley-Davidson has revealed two exclusive new CVO models, both of which will be powered by an all-new Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine.
The 2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide will debut the new 121 (1983cc) engine, which will take the mantle of the company’s biggest standard power unit from the Milwaukee-Eight 117.
Full details on the bikes and the engine are expected to be revealed on June 7, but the new CVO models feature a new visual design, all-new suspension and an all-new infotainment system. Both bikes also feature bold new fairings.
CVO stands for Custom Vehicle Operations and acts as H-D’s performance arm. The CVO models are designed as limited-production models that offer premium styling, design, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
“With the introduction of the all-new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide, we’ve completely reimagined two of Harley-Davidson’s most iconic motorcycles and redefined the boundaries of CVO in the process,” said Jochen Zeitz, Harley-Davidson CEO.
While the 121 engine will only be available on the CVO models at first, it is likely that it will eventually become available in select standard Harley models.
