Harley-Davidson recently announced its 2013 model range, with a number of limited-edition models based on the fact that the company will turn 110 next year.
Celebrations will be rolled out throughout the year, with the biggest party planned for Milwaukee from August 29 until September 1. The home of Harley-Davidson will serve up a feast of entertainment, including a custom bike show, motorcycle display areas, the ‘world’s largest bike night’ at the Harley-Davidson museum, and special HOG 30th anniversary celebration.
Two months before that, the focus will be on Rome for the European leg of the anniversary, where three-pronged celebrations will be held in central Rome, Vatican City – standby for a papal blessing if the rumour mill is true - and the Port of Ostia. Activities will include:
Harley Village with entertainment, food and drink
Multiple stages for music and live bands
Demo rides and jump start in multiple locations
Expo and motorcycle display areas
