Harley-Davidson has added two new styles – Passing Link for men and Waterproof Textile for women -- to its Triple Vent System (TVS) jacket range.
Created in concert with Project Rushmore, the wide-ranging program which delivered the extensively updated range of 2014Harley-Davidson Touring models, the TVS technology helps harness a greater airflow for riders on motorcycles equipped with a fairing or windshield through three zippered vents placed on each side of the jacket.
Additionally, ‘stay-open’ snap tabs allow for extra-wide vent openings providing unrestricted airflow for riders, even when riding with passengers and backrests. Further breathability in idle traffic is facilitated by the TVS tiered vent structure, with the leading vent located lowest and each succeeding vent extending higher onto the jacket sides.
TVS is currently available in four styles of jacket for men, as well as featuring in two women’s leather jackets which are each categorised within feature and price brackets to suit the individual needs of riders.
David Turney, Parts, Accessories and MotorClothes Sales & Marketing Manager for Harley- Davidson Australia commented: “The introduction of TVS technology into the MotorClothes range offers a world class standard in cooling and ventilation for Harley-Davidson riding apparel without compromising the classic Harley-Davidson leather jacket aesthetic.
“The development of the Triple Vent System drove Harley-Davidson to an unparalleled level of engineering sophistication.
