Go touring with MA

Through Motorcycling Australia Tours, MA members can travel across Australia or around the world, with specialist tour operators affiliated with the national organisation.

David White, MA's CEO said that the tours were another way that local motorcyclists could benefit from the connections and strength that being Australia's premier motorcycling organisation could bring.

He said that MA's connections with the Isle of Man, for example, would help create a unique tour. " Jim Scaysbrook is one of a few Australians who raced at the Isle of Man who are able to host a tour. What he will bring to that tour is not just a sense of history, but also insights into what it's like to tame the beast," White said, referring to the notorious 63 km circuit.

Later in 2006, Motorcycling Australia Tour will be running a tour to coincide with the International Six Day Endurance Event (ISDE) being held in Take Taupo, New Zealand. For less than $7,000, participants will have their motorcycles shipped to the Land of the Long White Cloud, spending 18 days on their own bike, shipped across the Tasman. The tour includes attendance at the ISDE at a nearby five-star resort.

Many tours allowed members to use their own motorcycles, locally and overseas, others which were centered around.

Tours can also be tailored to individual member's needs. For local tours, Motorcycling Australia Tours can arrange for participants to fly in to join the tour, cutting days off the time for the tour. This Fly-n-Ride option often costs little more than riding to join the tour.
