GNCC Australia has postponed its event at Moulamein due to low entries.
It is the second GNCC event to be postponed in 2024 after the opening round at Coongulla was also aborted.
A statement from the organisers said that “low entries and hazardous conditions” made it not viable to run the event in Moulamein.
“We are not in a position to expose ourselves to the financial risk of delivering an event with a budget that does not cover our expenses,” the statement read.

The GNCC Australia series is inspired by the popular Grand National Cross Country in America. Organisers ran a successful inaugural event in South Australia last year and hoped to run a three-round series in 2024.
Some of Australia’s best-known off-road riders supported the 2023 event, while the racing action was broadcast on 7Plus.
The three-round 2024 series was due to kick off in April, but “permitting issues” with the local council forced organisers to reschedule the event to October 12-13.
There is hope the Moulamein event will also be rescheduled, but dates have not yet been announced. Moulamein is located in southern NSW, 68km north-east of Swan Hill.
GNCC Australia will now kick-off at Coonalpyn, South Australia – the same venue that hosted the inaugural 2023 event. The action will take place August 3-4, with entries set to open soon before closing on July 21.
