To celebrate its first MXGP world title, GASGAS has produced a MC 450F Prado Edition in limited numbers as part of its 2025 model line-up.
As well as the same Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing graphics as Jorge Prado’s championship-winning 450, the limited-edition machine gains a host of top-shelf items, such as a GPS sensor, factory wheels, CNC-machined triple clamps and WP’s XACT suspension.
Also included is the firm’s connectivity unit which, when paired with the GASGAS+ app and GPS unit, allows the creation of customised maps as well as access to data related to rider performance, set-up and servicing.
Both the frame and engine mounts are revised for 2025, as is the linkage for the rear shock, with the WP suspension settings tweaked to suit the updates, while the red anodised triple clamp features 20mm or 22mm offset options.
There’s a frame-protection kit, a race seat, a race-style rear brake pedal and a wider rear guard, as well as handlebar mounts which are designed to reduced the likelihood of the ’bar being twisted as a result of a crash.
Tyres are Pirelli’s Scorpion MX 32 Mid Softs, the silencer is by Akrapovic, the clutch cover is Hinson while the soft race-style grips are by Odi. And as well as a signed commemorative number-one front plate, owners can really channel their Jorge Prado by fitting the optional #61 decals.
GASGAS hasn’t disclosed just how many units it intends to produce, but says the limited-edition MC 450F “is expected to sell out within days”.
