Gas Gas EC300 Nambotin Replica

A new special edition, coming to Oz in June

While some sports stars get commemorative shoes or tennis racquets with their name on them, French enduro rider Christophe Nambotin can now show off his very own motorcycle with his name emblazoned all over it.

This is the Gas Gas EC300 limited edition Nambotin Replica, which was commissioned to celebrate Spanish motorcycle maker Gas Gas’s and pilot Christophe Nambotin’s 2009 world Enduro championship and also his outright winning ride in the ISDE.

The schmick new replica bike gains a bunch of new chassis and powertrain features, including a FMF muffler for a tad more power, Ohlins suspension, a crankcase protector, Renthal handlebars, wave disc brakes, and even an interchangeable cylinder head. Not bad that.

Here’s the full list of goodies you can expect:

- Ohlins TTX fork cartridges
- Ohlins TTX shock
- Interchangeable cylinder head
- Renthal handlebars
- FMF muffler
- Gold-coloured frame
- Wave discs
- Crankcase protector
- Nambotin graphics
- ADR approval

The new Gas Gas EC300 Nambotin Replica has also been ADR approved, which means it’ll be offered in Australia. Gas Gas secured a “small number” of bikes and the new models should be shipped here by late May or early June this year.
