New variants, colours, and options have been added to the BMW Motorrad line-up for 2022, with the new models expected to arrive in Australia early next year.
Headlining the changes is the addition of new ‘Clubsport’ variants to the S 1000 R, S 1000 RR, and S 1000 XR ranges, as well new colour schemes and a ‘Highline’ variant for the R 18.

The Clubsport variants include a carbon and billet pack, giving each of the S-series models a sharp and sleek new look. The S 1000 R and S 1000 RR Clubsport models are priced at $35,490 (plus ORC) and $37,790 (plus ORC) respectively.
Also new is the S 1000 XR M Sport variant, which is priced at $29,790 (plus ORC) and features an exclusive M colour, M seat, black tank lid, sport windshield, M lightweight battery, sport silencer,
M endurance chain and M forged wheels.
Meanwhile, the R 18 range offers plenty of new swag with new options, new colours and the Highline variant. Three new colours have been added, with Manhattan Metallic, Mars Red Metallic, and Option 719 Galaxy Dust/Titan Silver 2 Metallic offering customers more individuality with their machine.
The R 18 Highline variant, priced at $27,875 (plus ORC) adds an adaptive headline, alarm, cruise control, daytime riding light, headlight pro, heated grips, hill start control, a lockable fuel cap and reverse gear as standard. The flip-side is that the Deluxe, Custom, and First Edition variants have now been dropped.
Other bikes that benefit from new options include the F 750 GS, F 850 GS, F 850 GS Adventure, F 900 R, F 900 XR, G 310 R, G 310 GS, R 1250 GS, R 1250 GS Adventure, R 1250 RS, R 1250 RT, R nineT Pure, R nineT Scrambler and the R nineT Urban GS.
