Free pre-ride inspections: October 8
With spring around the corner, a Victorian-based initiative called Easy Rider will be conducting a one-day course to offer education on pre-ride inspectionsRoad Safe is a Vic Roads-funded body consisting of police, council and riding groups, and on Saturday, October 8 the partnership – operating under the recently introduced Easy Rider banner – will be conducting a special day to teach riders about pre-ride inspections – an ideal time with motorcycles returning to the roads en masse after the winter hibernation.
The day will run from 10:00am until 2:00pm at A1 Motorcycles, located at 56 Maroondah Highway, Ringwood, tel (03) 9870 2222.
Riders will be offered free motorcycle inspections, be able to engage with experienced technicians, learn how to conduct a pre-ride safety check, talk about rider training, and quiz tyre experts.
There will be a free sausage sizzle from 9:30am, and booked inspections will start from 10:00am sharp.
