Frasers to distribute Norton

The reborn British marque now has a suitor in Australia, with deliveries of the 961 range tipped to commence for local customers in early 2014

The Sydney-based Fraser Motorcycle Group has been appointed the Australian and New Zealand distributor for Norton Motorcycles.

Norton was founded in England in 1898 and today produces hand-built motorcycles in Great Britain from its factory located at the Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit in Derby – but it will soon be on the move to new digs.

In its media release, Frasers said that it “will be working closely with Norton with the objective to ideally be in a position to commence deliveries of the Commando 961 Café Racer, 961 SF and 961 Sport range by early 2014”.

Details will follow on pricing and the4 establishment of a dealer network.
