Formula Xtreme TT Series cut to four rounds
Queensland banished from calendarThe 2009 Formula Xtreme TT Series will now be held over four rounds instead of five, with Queensland Raceway trimmed from the calendar.
The remaining rounds will now be held at Eastern Creek on June 13-14 and Wakefield Park, near Goulburn, on September 25-27. The latter will be a double-header event.
"Given the greatly reduced number of riders actually crossing more then one state border to go racing, even at the ASC (Australian Superbike Championship), this was we believe a logical decision to make at this point in time," said Formula Xtreme boss Terry O'Neill. "This now allows us to focus… on the final double-header round at Wakefield Park and the securing of sponsorship for the two days of potential TV coverage."
