For sale: Harley-Davidson test track
Over 510 acres of ‘Big Cyprus Swamp', and the local fauna certainly isn't for the faint hearted
According to UK motorcycle website Visordown, Harley-Davidson is selling its old test track in the alligator-infested Florida Everglades for $7.2 million.
The secluded facility is a massive 531-acre expanse, and includes a couple of track configurations – basically a long and a short one – plenty of buildings (workshops, etc), skidpans and a number of link roads totalling about 10km in length.
