The British-based Paul Bird Motorsport is selling up its MotoGP infrastructure after deciding to leave the championship, and the 2014 bikes ridden by Aussie Broc Parkes and Michael Laverty are now up for grabs.
The four unique PBM MotoGP machines as well as two Aprilia ART machines are available and are expected to attract a lot of interest. Once that interest has been established, whether it be for a single bike, or any of the other equipment, PBM will decide what to do with them -- along with the comprehensive spares and engines packages.
Also available is the various pit, garage and workshop equipment including wheel racks and garage boardings, plus the custom-built trailer unit, transporter and truck, which are suitable for two or four-wheeled applications.
All serious enquiries with regards to viewing by appointment only should be sent to team coordinator Stuart Bland, tel +44 7798 833867 or email Stuart.Bland@pbm.uk.com.
Although it's out of MotoGP, PBM will continue in the 2015 British Superbike Championship with reigning champion Shane Byrne and Stuart Easton aboard Kawasaki ZX-10Rs, while Parkes is also BSB-bound and will join fellow Aussie Josh Brookes at Milwaukee Yamaha on the all-new R1M.
Parkes finished 23rd in the 2014 MotoGP title, with a best finish of 10th at Assen.
