
Harley-Davidson has officially announced its 2010 motorcycle range, with five new additions and/or updates across its four model platforms.
Those models are as follows:
Iron 883
This machine was first announced in January, and is the latest of the H-D dark customs. Its soul mates include the Nightster, Night Train, Cross Bones, Fat Bob, and Street Bob It will retail for $11,995.
XR1200X
The latest incarnation of the XR range features blacked-out engine casing, USD forks and a matte black tail, tank and fender. Price is $16,750.
Electra Glide Ultra Limited
This is the new boss cocky in the H-D touring family. It has the performance upgrade of the Twin Cam 103 engine (peak torque is136Nm at 3500 rpm) and features equipment items previously offered only as accessories on the other Harley-Davidson Touring models.
Brembo ABD brakes, heated hand grips, the Harley-Davidson Smart Security System, a two-tone paint scheme, 28-spoke cast aluminium wheels, electronic cruise control, an 80-watt audio system, CB radio/intercom, vented fairing lowers, adjustable wind deflectors and a 12-volt / 15 amp Tour-Pak power supply are all standard features on the machine. Price is $36,850.
Dyna Wide Glide
The Wide Glide returns as an all-new Dyna model done in old-school chopper style, with black laced wheels, a chopped rear fender, black “wire” sissy bar, a 2-1-2 exhaust and an optional flame paint scheme. It’s price at $26,495.
Fat Boy Lo
Dressed in satin chrome and denim black, the new Fat Boy Lo is yet another interpretation of the motorcycle that still defines the fat-custom segment. The Fat Boy Lo features a reshaped seat and handlebar that places its rider “in” the motorcycle, with the lowest seat height of any Harley-Davidson model. It has also has the half-moon footboards, black wheels, and leather tank panel. Price at $27,995.
Street Glide
The updated 2010 Street Glide gets even more hotrod soul, with a larger 18-inch front wheel, slimmed-down 2-1 exhaust, a new tail light assembly, and a new helical-cut fifth gear for smoother operation. Price is $29,995.
