Harley-Davidson LiveWire
The current heavyweight champion of electric motorcycles. Harley-Davidson took a punt when it introduced the first production, road-legal electric bike from a major bike builder and, while it hasn’t sold like hotcakes, it has established the Milwaukee company as a leader in the field. The Harley-Davidson LiveWire is super-expensive, but it is also super-fast and packed with tech. And despite not pleasing everyone, the LiveWire has better battery range and charging times than anything else on this list.

Super Soco TC Max
We rode this little pocket rocket last year and it is a heap of fun. The Super Soco TC Max is made on a budget, so don’t expect a premium product, but at $8290 ride away, it offers more than enough power and practicality for urban commuters and beginner riders. And if that price tag is still a little too much, the base-level TC model checks in at just $5490 ride away.

Braaap MotoE
We don’t know a whole lot about this machine, but Braaap is a company that knows how to have fun and we expect this bike will be no different. The Braaap MotoE comes in 3000w, 5000w and 8000w variants with each offering a little bit more power and speed for a few extra dollars.
Evoke Urban S
Hong-Kong based Evoke is relatively new to the game, but Australian distributors Peter and Chris Hull are working with the company to improve its products and promote electric motorcycling on our shores. The Evoke Urban S is a fun machine that is more practical than you think. Like the Super Soco, it is made on a budget, but it still offers plenty for a pretty attractive price tag.

Fonzarelli NDK
Another bike we haven’t tested, but one look at the Fonzarelli NDK tells us this thing would be fun. It has a claimed range of 200km, a claimed top-speed of 100km/h, and a claimed 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds. We’re keen to test that last one, but the NDK looks like a fun urban commuter nonetheless.
