Fischer passes exams with flying colours

The American sports bike is now on sale after sailing through all the ADR requirements

Just over a year after it was first released in America, the Hyosung-powered Fischer MRX650 sports bike will now go on sale in Australia after receiving the formal ADR green light.

The higher-spec SP version will be sold Down Under for $13,990, featuring Brembo brakes and petal discs; Ohlins rear suspension; a one-piece cast aluminium chassis and swingarm; an underseat exhaust; and an aggressive, angular look by renowned motorcycle stylist Glynn Kerr.

The chassis is the creation of Gemini Technologies, of Harley-Davidson VR1000 fame. Fischer, founded by former superbike racer Dan Fischer, claims the chassis has an "engineered inherent degree of flex".

At this stage, Fischer has only appointed a few authorised dealers to sell the MRX650.
