Australians will have their first chance to see the all-new Victory Magnum big-wheel bagger at the Melbourne Showgrounds-hosted Moto Expo
from November 28-30.
Starting with the Cross Country as the donor design, the $29,995 Magnum adds a 21-inch front cast wheel, slammed back-end, three-colour livery, and six speakers.
Other unique Magnum features include:
The Magnum also has anti-lock braking, cruise control, 79.5 litres of storage, MP3 compatible audio, and fork-mounted full fairing.
The colours will be Metasheen Black Over Supersteel Grey, Plasma Lime, Sunset Red Over Supersteel Grey, or Ness Midnight Cherry, while accessories will include ape hanger bars, audio saddle bag lids, and a bevelled collection from Arlen Ness including pegs, engine covers, mirrors, levers, floorboards and engine/ignition covers.
The engine is the universal Freedom 106 air and oil-cooled V-twin (1731cc). Fuel capacity is 22 litres, and the dry weight is 345kg. The seat height is 654mm.
“It will be our biggest, boldest and loudest bike ever – customisation is king with our customers at the moment, and this bike is precisely what they have been building themselves,” Peter Harvey, Victory Motorcycles Country Manager said.
“When we say loud, we’re not just referring to the glorious sound of the powerful Freedom 106ci V-Twin – the Magnum has our best ever sound system that features six in-dash speakers and 100W output.
“To say we’re excited is to put it mildly, especially as the bagger trend continues to gather momentum in Australia.”
The Magnum, which goes on sale in late November 2014, will on display along with the rest of the Victory range at Moto Expo.
