Fancy some MX coaching?

From the orange bunker: KTM Australia has joined forces with Glenn Macdonald to form the KTM Motocross Advanced Coaching Academy, providing what it promises is a professional coaching program for beginner to elite dirt bike riders

Glenn Macdonald is a multiple state and national motocross champion, with over ten years coaching experience.

The aim of the KTM Motocross Advanced Coaching Academy will be to deliver the skill and techniques required to become a confident and safe rider both on and off the race track.

Schools and private sessions for entry level riders, plus intermediate to advanced riders will run over two to five days, catering for all ages and abilities of riders on mini bikes through to thumpers, with tuition at a maximum ratio of 15:1 and no more than 30 riders per day.

The company says all coaches are accredited by the Australian Institute of Sport to assist riders explore their limits on starts, jumps, corners and passing techniques.

The programs launched on 5 January with a three day elite motocross training camp at Cobram Border Motorcycle Club in Victoria, catering primarily for confident riders aged 12  years and over, on bikes ranging from 85cc to 450cc four-stroke machines. A number of future dates have been announced, running through to April.
