Extreme ice racing: 258km/h

More than a million people have watched the mind-blowing video taken in Lapland, Scandinavia, that approaches the age-old car vs motorcycle dispute from a unique angle - it's on snow.
The Yamaha YZF-R1 takes on a Porsche GT3 RS, and while the Yamaha is fitted with spiked snow tyres, it appears as though the Porsche gets only winter tyres, or flat studs at best.
An unfair advantage to the R1? Maybe.
It's not clear which vehicle wins, but the caped R1 rider does pump his fist at one stage (though anyone who hits 258km/h in the snow, after getting his knee down and power drifting a bike would be stoked).
The extreme face-off was conducted at the Laponie Ice Racing school, which prides itself on its sub-zero replicas of real race tracks, such as Silverstone and Paul Ricard, the latter circuit seen in the video.
There is also a second race between a Yamaha WR450F and a Mitsubishi Evo 9.
