Representing high-quality and exclusivity, the Option 719 range of parts will be available internationally from September 2021.
At the top of the list is the Option 719 Aero Design Package, which includes cylinder head covers, the front cover and the intake snorkel covers. These parts are made of aluminium sheet with a brushed, colourless anodised surface.
Also available is a new Option 719 seat, which integrates heating and features two black upper materials and diamond-shaped quilted embossing.
A new Option 719 paint scheme is also coming, with the Galaxy Dust/Titanium Silver 2 metallic finish offering a flip-flop effect that changes from violet to turquoise blue depending on the light conditions.
Finally, customers can also purchase Option 719 Aero and Icon wheel sets. The wheel sets are matte silver and matte black respectively, and feature a cast-alloy, six-spoke design.
The launch of the BMW R 18 in 2020 was long-anticipated. The boxer-powered cruiser has been a hit with the special First Edition models numbering more than 13,000. The First Edition production run is set to end in July 2021. BMW has also released an R 18 Classic, which adds a tall windshield, saddlebags and a roomy pillion seat.
