Following the reveal of its overhauled 2024 enduro models, KTM has added a new special-edition HARDENDURO model to its line-up.
The 2024 KTM EXC 300 HARDENDURO utilises the same engine, chassis, technology, and suspension as its siblings, but adds a raft of standard equipment that has it ready for hard enduro events such as Erzebergrodeo and Red Bull Romaniacs.
Headlining the list of added features is a slew of protection equipment including closed hand guards, clutch slave cylinder protection, composite skid plate and brake disc gaurds.
Elsewhere, the bike also has model-specific graphics, an orange frame, a factory wheelset, a map switch, Metzeler 6 Days Extreme tyres, a composite skid plate, orange-anodized CNC machined triple clamps, and a radiator fan.
And wait, there’s more. Completing the list of features is a HARDENDURO bar pad, ODI lock-on grips, a ribbed diamante factory seat, a Supersprox stealth rear sprocket, an orange-anodized oil plug, and front and rear pull straps.
The 2024 two-stroke EXC models benefit from an all-new chassis, refined closed-cartridge suspension, fresh bodywork, and new throttle body fuel injection (TBI) technology.
While pricing is yet to be announced, KTM has revealed that the EXC 300 HARDENDURO variant will be available from Australian and New Zealand dealerships from September 2023.
