Honda has revealed a new retro-inspired naked bike powered by the proven inline-four-cylinder CBR1000RR Fireblade engine.
The all-new 2026 Honda CB1000F incorporates 80s style into a modern package, with the Freddie Spencer-piloted CB750F acting as particular inspiration.
It is still unclear if the new CB1000F will make its way to Australia, but if it does, it will join the CB1000 Hornet SP that launched locally earlier this year.
Power is rated at 91kW at 9000rpm and 103Nm at 8000rpm, with the Fireblade-derived engine benefitting from revised camshafts for exhaust and intake valve timing, as well as tuned intake specifications.
Suspension is handled by a 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD fork and an adjustable Showa rear shock with a Pro-Link linkage system.
The bike is also fitted with a suite of electronics including a six-axis IMU, cornering ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, customisable ride modes, a five-inch TFT display, keyless ignition, and smartphone connectivity.
A press release also highlighted the CB1000F’s use of easy-to-recycle materials to aid Honda’s commitment to reduce consumption of global resources.
In global markets, Honda will also offer accessories in the form of three “packs” (Sports, Comfort, or Travel), while three colourways will be available.
