EICMA: Sport Scout RT joins Indian line-up
Indian expands its Scout range with the new Sport Scout RTIndian Motorcycle has expanded its 2026 Scout line-up with the new Sport Scout RT, a factory-built cruiser combining everyday comfort, touring convenience and the model’s familiar performance focus.
The Sport Scout RT joins Indian’s five-model Scout range as a variant designed to offer added storage, wind protection and rider comfort without straying from the bike’s traditional proportions. It uses the same steel-tube frame and liquid-cooled 1250cc V-twin as the broader Scout line-up, complemented by a quarter fairing, locking rigid saddlebags and revised ergonomics intended for longer rides.
A 19-inch front wheel and new handlebar setup give the Sport Scout RT a slightly more upright riding position. It features gloss-black 140mm risers with machined highlights, machined triple clamps and a one-piece handlebar. The sport solo seat incorporates lumbar support, while the colour-matched saddlebags provide more than 37 litres of weatherproof storage.

The quarter fairing is designed to reduce wind pressure at highway speeds, while new paint and graphics – available in Black Smoke or Sunset Red Metallic – distinguish the model from its stablemates.
The Sport Scout RT will be offered in the firm’s higher-spec Limited and Tech trims.
Indian has also introduced new colours and graphics across the 2026 line-up. The 101 Scout and Challenger Dark Horse now come in Black Crystal and Super Graphite, the Scout Classic adds Deep Blue Metallic, and the Scout Bobber gains Moss Green Smoke. Chalk joins the Super Chief Limited palette, while the Chief Bobber Dark Horse is now available in Moss Green. Chief variants also feature revised tank graphics.
A range of new accessories accompanies the model updates. For the Scout series, these include the PowerBand Bluetooth speaker system, adjustable Gilles Tooling brake and clutch levers, 200mm pullback risers and optional locking rigid saddlebags (standard on the RT).
Chief owners gain new seat and handlebar options, while the touring range receives new Spirit Lake luggage, including liner and trunk bags.
