The new Ducati Scrambler was the most beautiful bike of the 2014 EICMA show – well according to a poll run by Italian magazine Motociclismo.
Forty-three per cent of the 10,000 respondents voted for the Scrambler, ahead of the MV Agusta Brutale RR Dragster (Ed: our choice…) with 15 per cent, and the podium was completed by the new Yamaha YZF-R1 (13). It’s Ducati’s sixth win in the last 10 most beautiful contests.
The Ducati Scrambler is available in four versions: Icon, yellow and red; Urban Enduro, characterised by its “Wild Green” colour; Full Throttle, for fans of “flat track” racing; and Classic, for those who love details and 1970s style.
There’s a 75hp 800cc air-cooled engine, a seat height of 790mm, and weight is 170kg dry.
