One year after a prototype was displayed amid much fanfare, CFMOTO has unveiled the production version of its litre-class sportsbike – the V4SR-RR.
The model designation may be verging on being a bit of a tongue-twister, but the company has delivered a showstopper: a 997cc V4 with searing performance, including a claimed output of 156.6kW (210hp), a 15,000rpm ceiling and a top speed well north of 300km/h – figures that well and truly put it in the superbike conversation with the established heavy-hitters.
Lightweight engineering and components from motorcycling’s best-known performance specialists – Ohlins, Brembo, Akrapovic and Pirelli among them – sit at the heart of CFMOTO’s most advanced superbike to date, while independently controlled active aerodynamic winglets are a key feature of the design.

Alongside the V4SR-RR sits the V4SR-RR Carbon Black, which is an exclusive track-focused variant with extensive carbon-fibre bodywork, MotoGP-inspired aerodynamics and – you guessed it – an all-black livery.
An Akrapovic titanium racing exhaust and racing components from well-known European manufacturer Gilles Tooling further underline its track-focused character.
With such formidable hardware at its disposal, questions will now be asked about CFMOTO’s production-based racing ambitions. In the short term, the company’s competition focus is probably on the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, where it will be the exclusive supplier from 2027 with its 675SR-R triple.

But once that project is bedded in, who knows? And as CFMOTO has shown more than once over the last few years, the company doesn’t enjoy standing still…
Australian dates have not been announced for the V4SR-RR family’s arrival.
