Ducati has unveiled its first modern enduro bike at EICMA 2025, just months after launching its motocross counterpart.
The all-new Ducati Desmo450 Enduro marks the Italian firm’s entry into the enduro segment and will compete with models from the likes of KTM, Husqvarna, GASGAS, Triumph, Yamaha, Beta, and Sherco.
Details are still thin, but press images show that the Desmo450 Enduro is equipped with a headlight, taillight, 21- and 18-inch wheel combo, handguards, bashplate, sidestand, and a larger translucent fuel tank.

While Ducati is remaining tight-lipped on specifications for now, there appear to be many similarities to the Desmo450 EDX cross-country model that was quietly revealed earlier in October.
According to a Ducati press release, the EDX version uses the same Desmodromic single-cylinder engine and twin-spar aluminium frame as the MX version but adds a unique enduro suspension tune to the Showa fork and shock. Both the fork and shock are fully adjustable and offer 310mm and 301mm of travel respectively.
The EDX also benefits from an electronics suite that includes launch control, engine brake control, ride modes, a quickshifter, smartphone connectivity, and a closed-loop traction control system, which Ducati says is the first of its kind in the segment.

Ducati also says that maintenance intervals are set at 45 hours for piston replacement and valve clearance checks, and 90 hours for a “total engine overhaul.”
It’s likely that the Desmo450 Enduro will follow a similar formula to the EDX.
More to come.
