Retaining the low-mounted headlight and exposed tubular handlebar that harks back to Vespa models of yesteryear, the 2023 Vespa GTV now features new digital instrumentation, a full LED lighting package, and a keyless starting system.
Powering the show is Vespa’s 300 HPE (High Performance Engine), the single-cylinder powerplant putting out a claimed 23.8hp (17.5kW). On the safety front, the model comes standard with antilock brakes and traction control.
The new digital instrumentation offers up a wealth of information, including maximum speed, average speed, instant consumption, average consumption, range, and battery charge status.
The unit can also be mated with the Vespa MIA Bluetooth connectivity system, available as an accessory, for call, message, and music management.
Fresh styling cues include the compact yet sporty top fairing, new five-spoke rims, and a two-tone single seat with orange contrast stitching. The latter can also be accessorised with racing rear cover.
The 2023 Vespa GTV will be available in a ‘Beige Avvolgente Opaco’ colour scheme with contrasting orange graphics that run diagonally across the side panels. Pricing and availability will be announced closer to the model’s arrival Down Under.
