Moto Guzzi's stand at the recent EICMA motorcycle show in Milan included mild ergonomic updates to its pair of V9s – the Roamer and Bobber – but the biggest movement on the model front was the third-generation V7.
The V7III, Guzzi's self-proclaimed entry-level model, now has a claimed 10 percent more power from the updated transversal V-twin engine, and it will continue to be available in three separate iterations: Stone, Special and Racer.
And to pay homage to 50 years since the first V7 was released, Moto Guzzi is introducing a fourth version in 2017: the Anniversario, a numbered edition limited to just 750 units, characterised by brand new and exclusive details. The attached images are of the anniversary model.
The V7III has the same double cradle steel frame as the predecessor, as well the same weight distribution (46 percent front, 54 percent rear), but the front part has been completely revamped and reinforced. The steering geometry has also been steepened, while the preload-adjustable Kayaba shocks are new.
The passenger footpegs are also mounted lower and more forward.
No word yet on when the new V7s will be arriving in Australia, or how many of the anniversary models we'll be seeing.
