With the V4 Panigale finally unveiled, Ducati has breathed some high-end life into what is now its flagship V-twin revealing the 959 Panigale Corse at the EICMA motorcycle expo in Milan.
Looking every bit Andrea Dovizioso’s title contending GP17, the Corse version also gets a swathe of top-shelf componentry to go with the MotoGP inspired livery. There’s an Akrapovic exhaust which, combined with the aluminium fuel tank and lightweight lithium battery, adds up to a 2.3kg weight saving over the standard model.

There’s Öhlins suspenders in the form of a titanium treated 43mm NI30 fork and a TTX36 rear shock, top-shelf Brembo Monobloc calipers look after the stopping duties while the electronic goodies include a multi-directional quickshifter, engine brake control, ABS, traction control and switchable engine maps in Race, Sport and Wet.
Power remains unchanged from the standard bike’s 150hp quoted peak output from the 955cc V-twin.
The bike’s due to lob in Australia in late April/early May 2018.
