EICMA: 2015 MV Agusta Stradale 800

They keep coming! Yet another take on MV Agusta’s 800cc theme, although the Stradale’s chassis has been tweaked with a 30mm longer wheelbase
MV Agusta’s Stradale 800 has joined the Turismo Veloce 800 and Dragster 800 in MV Agusta’s new release basket.
It’s yet another take on the company’s 800cc theme, with the 798cc triple good for 115hp at 11,000rpm and 78.5Nm at 9000rpm.
The electronic MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) control includes a   ride-by-wire throttle with three different engine maps, and Bosch ABS with a ‘rear wheel lift-up mitigation’ function.
Elsewhere, the bike’s wheelbase has been extended by 30mm out to 1460mm, with the single-sided swingarm also longer for what MV says is improved traction. The seat is 870mm high, while the front end is equipped with a protective Plexiglas screen which can be adjusted on the fly.
The fuel tank is good for 16 litres of juice, while there’s also a hydraulic clutch. The panniers are included as standard equipment.
No word yet on Australian availability.
