EICMA 2013: MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800

A new way forward for the Italian company, with two versions of the in-line 800cc triple launched at Milan in Italy: the standard and Luxury

MV Agusta has kicked off its 2013 EICMA program in Milan by unveiling the Veloce 800 sportstouring machine.

The in-line 800cc triple uses the same mechanical platform as the Brutale 800 and Rivale, and according to MV Agusta the real innovation is in the fastening system of the bags, “saving precious inches of overall width”.

Two versions are available: the Turismo Veloce 800 and Turismo Veloce 800 Luxury that use the same basic thread (three-cylinder  with ride by wire and 125hp ) from the platform MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System), now in its second evolution and equipped of inertial platform to introduce controls and cruise control surge. There are four engine maps.

The Luxury also has semi-active suspension, an immobiliser, heated grips, and Bluetooth connection between vehicle, driver and passenger.
