If you own a Ducati, or know someone who does, and want to get the red carpet treatment at the upcoming 2009 Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island, you might just be in luck.
Though it'll cost a cool $750, you'll get to be a Ducati VIP for three days, which for Ducatisti will be hard to top.
The VIP ticket gets you a three day pass to the GP, plus one free pit lane walk -- per day -- and access to the Ducati Champions Club throughout the three days, which according to the Italian bike maker "is specifically designed for Ducati owners to be up close to see, hear and feel the MotoGP bikes as they scream by at over 330kph on Phillip Island's main straight".
Grandstand seats are included, as is access to closed circuit TV coverage, plus morning and afternoon tea are served every day. Best of all, in addition to a light lunch on the Friday, you get buffet lunches on the Saturday and Sunday.
Free (non-alcoholic) drinks are available to VIPs at anytime, as is a barista coffee service, and all Ducati VIP ticket holders will walk away with a 2009 Moto GP Ducati Champions Club Bag which may or may not include stickers. Our spies cannot verify this yet.
So if you own a Ducati and like the idea of a fully-catered weekend of racing madness in the lap of luxury, it might be worth checking out the deal.
