Ducati's open secret is now official - its new 1198cc Testastretta-engined Multistrada 1200 will be unveiled at the EICMA 2009 International Motorcycle Show in Milan, where the brand new model will take centre stage on the Italian manufacturer's display from November 10-15.
Ducati's positioning statement for the Multistrada 1200 is categorical: it's out to satisfy the demands of all motorcyclists by taking the versatility and all-round performance from the current 1078cc air-cooled, two-valve Multistrada to another level.
There's a new look and style from the current Multistrada, extreme sportsbike power and excitement from the Testastretta 11°(eleven degrees) superbike-derived engine, and a high priority on safety and comfort.
The Bikesales Network will be running a full EICMA preview later this week.
