Ducati’s rolling reveal of new models continues, with the Bologna-based brand pulling the covers off a new Ducati Streetfighter V2 and a new Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP overnight.
A new entry-level model for the now four-strong Ducati Streetfighter range, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is powered by the brand’s Superquadro 955cc V-twin and produces a claimed 153hp at 10,750rpm and 101.4Nm at 9000rpm in a svelte 178kg (dry) package.
The reinterpretation of Ducati’s ‘Fight Formula’, the new entry point to the range is based on the Panigale V2 sportsbike but stripped of bodywork and equipped with high and broad handlebars for a more accommodating ride position.
Essentially the same mechanical package as the Panigale V2, the Streetfighter guise does have a shorter final gear ratio, along with a slightly longer (up 16mm) swingarm for added stability.
The Ducati Streetfighter V2 rides on a 43mm Showa BPF fork up front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear, plus five-spoked alloy rims shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.
The bike also comes with the Panigale V2’s electronics suite, with Inertial Measurement Unit for lean-angle sensitive rider safety aids, plus multiple ride modes, along with a 4.3-inch TFT screen.
The Ducati Streetfighter V2 will be available from local dealerships from February 2022. Available in Ducati Red with black rims, the model has suggested ride-away pricing of $22,500.

And if a ‘paltry’ 153hp sounds a bit too modest, perhaps the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP is more to your liking…
The new range-topper for the Ducati Streetfighter family, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP (denoting ‘Sport Production’) is powered by Ducati’s 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 with a whopping 208hp at 13,000rpm and 123Nm at 9500rpm. That’s in a package weighing 196kg wet – 3kg under that of the Streetfighter V4 S.
With its own dedicated livery and borrowing a raft of premium equipment from the Superleggera V4, Ducati says this is “the most adrenaline-pumping naked to ever roll its wheels off the production line in Borgo Panigale”.
Notable features include the tricolore colour scheme on its carbon wings, five split-spoke carbon rims, Brembo Stylema R brake calipers, Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 electronic suspension, a STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, a carbon front guard, adjustable CNC machined footpegs, and a host of track-ready accessories, including an open carbon clutch cover.
Of course, the model also comes with an advanced suite of electronic features, including myriad safety features and rider aids.
“Thanks to its technical equipment, the Streetfighter V4 SP is the ideal companion for the amateur who wants to rule the track riding a naked bike and get instant response,” says Ducati.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP will reach Australian showrooms in May 2022, with suggested ride-away pricing of $48,400.
The existing Ducati Streetfighter V4 ($29,800 ride away) and Ducati Streetfighter V4 S ($34,200 ride away) continue unchanged.
