The new 2023 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally packs a host of new features and is set to arrive in Australia early 2023 with a price tag of $41,400 ride away.

It is the latest addition to the Multistrada family, which already includes the Multistrada V2 and V2 S, the Multistrada V4 and V4 S, and the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.
Ducati is also gearing up to launch its new Desert X model, which is an off-road focused adventure bike powered by the 937cc Testastretta engine.
Highlighting the new Multistrada V4 variant is a 30 litre tank which will ensure greater fuel range for long-distance riding. This improves on the regular Multistrada V4’s 22 litre tank, and puts the new version on par with the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure and Triumph Tiger GT and Rally Explorer models.
Also new for the Multistrada V4 Rally is beefed up suspension travel with 200mm front and rear, as well as increased ground clearance, wider footpegs, and a new advanced enduro riding mode.
Elsewhere, the Rally version also adds lighter spoked rims, reinforced engine guards, a re-designed windshield, and a roomier pillion passenger area.
Building on the innovative tech already featured in the Multistrada V4 range, the Rally model also introduces two new clever features. Firstly, adding to the existing lowering function, the Rally has an Easy Lift feature which uses suspension hydraulics to make lifting the motorcycle off its side stand easier. And secondly, the cylinder deactivation function has been enhanced, with the rear-cylinder bank now able to switch off when in motion – a motorcycle industry first.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally maintains all the key features of the existing variants, most notably the 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine and the vast array of electronic features.
The Rally model is offered in three option packages, including Adventure Radar, Adventure Travel and Radar, and Full Adventure – the third of which comes with an Akrapovic silencer and carbon fibre front guard.
