Ducati Monster 1100EVO breaks cover

Ducati's Monster family of naked bikes expands yet again, with the EICMA show launch of the Monster 1100EVO

While most eyes at Milan’s 2010 EICMA motorcycle show were glued to Ducati’s all-new Diavel power cruiser, the Italian marque also chose its ‘home’ motorcycle expo to launch the latest addition to its Monster family of naked bikes.

The Monster 1100EVO is powered by a revised version of the Desmodue Evoluzione engine, now said to be good for 100hp (73.4kW), while other standout features include a redesigned exhaust system, a new seat, a 20mm handlebar riser, a Marzocchi fork, a refined tail section and bold Ducati Corse graphics.
The model also comes with the new Ducati Safety Pack (DSP) as standard, comprising ABS and four-level Ducati Traction Control.
Australian Ducati importer NF Importers Pty Ltd is yet to announce pricing or availability details.
