Ducati has expanded its Multistrada V4 range with a new high-spec variant that the Italian firm describes as a “first class” adventurer tourer.
The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is fully optioned, meaning it comes with Ducati’s full range of electronics and creature comforts. It is based on the Multistrada S model with the Travel and Radar packs added on as standard.
Included on the V4 S Grand Tour is adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, tyre pressure monitoring, adaptive LED lighting, smartphone connectivity, a 6.5-inch TFT display, and Ducati’s full suite of electronic rider aids.
Also standard is keyless ignition, a centrestand, heated grips and seats, a smartphone compartment, and Marzocchi semi-active suspension. Completing the touring theme is a pair of matching side bags that offer a combined volume of 60L.
The Multistrada V4 platform is powered by the 1158cc Granturismo engine that Ducati says offers great service intervals, with a valve clearance check only required every 60,000km. The bike is also fitted with Bosch ABS and Brembo Stylema braking components, as well Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres.
And if all that isn’t enough, there is further room to customise the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour with additional luggage, different seats, a lower seat height, different windshields, and a variety of carbonfibre and solid aluminium machined components, including levers, footrests, dynamic LED indicators, and brake and clutch fluid reservoir.
The new model will be available in Ducati dealerships early in 2024 with a ride-away price tag of $45,200. That price makes it the second-most-expensive model in the Ducati Multistrada range, behind only the V4 Pikes Peak variant.
