Ducati’s first motocross bike has finally arrived in Australia, with the Italian firm’s local arm celebrating the milestone by unveiling a new freestyle motocross partnership.
Local FMX star Corey Creed has joined forces with Ducati and will ride the Desmo450 MX at several events, including the iconic X Games.
“Partnering with Ducati for my X Games competition, freestyle events, and related activities is an incredible opportunity,” says Creed.
“The Desmo450 MX is unlike anything I’ve ridden before. The power delivery, control, and electronics give me the confidence to push harder and be more creative on the bike.”

Creed will debut the Desmo450 MX on Australian shores at Canberra’s Summernats in January, giving punters the chance to see the new bike in action for the first time.
Ducati’s entry into the 450cc motocross segment is ramping up quickly. The new model debuted globally in 2025, and the brand will soon line up for the 2026 AMA Supercross Championship with the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing squad.
Race fans will get their first look at the Desmo450 MX on the sport’s biggest stage when Justin Barcia and Dylan Ferrandis hit the track at Anaheim 1.
