Ducati 1098 breaks cover
Ducati's long awaited new-generation sports bike is gradually breaking cover with some fuzzy brochure and spy shots appearing on the web.The styling is a latter-day 916, arguably the company's most beautiful bike ever, complete with twin oval cans exiting under the tail section.
New heads and barrels are featured on the powerplant, which is claiming 160 horses in Strada form - probably more on some of the more exclusive models.
The bike will be launched at next week's Milan Show and the company promises performance on a par with a current one-litre Japanese sports machine.
