Doyle fourth in Latvian SGP

Australia Jason Doyle finished fourth at the Latvian GP in in Daugavpils on May 27, and is now equal second in the world standings.

Doyle was slowed by a blocked air filter in the Latvian final, won by Piotr Pawlicki in his first SGP win ahead of Patryk Dudek and Maciej Janowski.

Dudek now leads the SGP standings on 38 points – putting him just one ahead of Doyle (37) and Fredrik Lindgren (37) followed by Maciej Janowski (35), Martin Vaculik (34), Piotr Pawlicki (32), Emil Sayfutdinov (31) and Tai Woffinden (30).

Reigning champion Greg Hancock is sitting in a lowly 12th position, one spot ahead of the second Aussie in the field, Chris Holder.

Next up for the SGP stars is in the Czech Republic SGP on June 10, with the Aussie round slated for Melbourne's Etihad Stadium on Saturday. October 28.
