Australia’s Jason Doyle finished fourth in the 2018 Danish Speedway Grand Prix round in Horsens on Saturday, June 30, with Briton Tai Woffinden the winner ahead of Russian Artem Laguta and American Greg Hancock.
Doyle, the reigning world champion, was excluded from the final, but his 12-point tally in Denmark saw him move up to eighth in the standings after three of 10 rounds.
Doyle’s compatriot and 2012 world champion Chris Holder is ninth in the championship after finishing eighth in Horsens.

Woffinden has now won two of this year’s three rounds.
“It’s obviously nice to win Grand Prix rounds. The most important thing for me is that I’m consistent throughout the night and scoring points. All those points add up at the end of the year. The ultimate goal is obviously to be world champion,” said Woffinden.
The SGP stars have just a week to wait for their next world championship showdown in Sweden on Saturday, July 7.
