Five-time World Motorcycle Champion Mick Doohan has teamed up with the Motor Accident Commission of South Australia to spread the rider safety message, urging the state’s motorcyclists to 'Get the Edge' via a new website. The site features Mick presenting a variety of rider safety videos, with a trio of accompanying multi-choice quizzes giving SA residents a shot at winning some top prizes.
The three ‘challenges’ focus on common road-riding dangers and motorcycle accident facts, the importance of motorcycle safety gear, and the dangers of accident blackspots and intersections. After correctly answering five questions per challenge visitors to the site may then register their details to go into the prize draw (SA residents only).
While two of the three prize draws have already taken place the final prize draw is slated for June 4, giving participants a chance to win an Alpinestars GPR leather jacket, a TW Steel Mick Doohan watch, and an Arai helmet.
