Do you have motorcycle separation anxiety?

Tokyo has the answer

A lot of us have snuck our motorcycles into motel rooms over the years, concerned that local riff-raff may help themselves to your pride and joy - or you may just enjoy drifting off with 180-section rubber to stare at.

For those who would like to make that union more permanent, an architectural firm in Tokyo, where space is at an absolute premium, has commissioned an eight-unit apartment block purpose-built for motorcycles.

There's a street level storage space that can accommodate motorcycles - if you try and get your car in there it won't come out - and in the middle of the building is a small circular courtyard to turn the bike around. Nice touch.

Could this catch on elsewhere? We already have golfing communities: why not a motorcycle equivalent?
