For those who would like to make that union more permanent, an architectural firm in Tokyo, where space is at an absolute premium, has commissioned an eight-unit apartment block purpose-built for motorcycles.
There's a street level storage space that can accommodate motorcycles - if you try and get your car in there it won't come out - and in the middle of the building is a small circular courtyard to turn the bike around. Nice touch.
Could this catch on elsewhere? We already have golfing communities: why not a motorcycle equivalent?
